$8000 Tax Credit is Ending!

The $8,000 new home buyer tax credit has opened great doors for buyers this year! Our company has had many couples, families, and singles that decided to quicken their search for their dream home in an effort to receive this credit. It really has become one of those “too good to be true” offers.

Take Erica for example. Erica and her husband, Charles, have a three year old girl and a baby on the way. They are what our culture would consider “middle class” and a few months ago couldn’t decide if they should buy a home (emptying their savings for the down payment) or plan for their new baby leaving themselves with cushion in their savings account. After researching the new home buyer tax credit and realizing they could use the money for a down payment their questions were immediately answered. They really could do both! And that’s exactly what they did.Charles and Erica in their new home

Now Erica and Charles (pictured right)are moving into their new dream home with their daughter and new baby boy. Erica’s advice “Whoever is looking to get this better act now!!!!!”

The truth is, if you are looking to receive the tax credit (which really who wouldn’t want an extra $8,000) time is running out! You must be CLOSED on a house my November 30th 2009. This means you have to have found the home you want to purchase, have completed the writing process, and be ready to go to the table before that date!
